As part of my job I spend a lot of time thinking of ways to bridge the gap between the corporate sector and human rights issues both domestically and internationally. Corporations have the power to do so much good, and with diverse perspectives, to solve so many of the world's problems. I'm constantly seeking knowledge, training, and education to help sharpen my understanding of what it means to bridge the cognitive dissonance between working for a corporation- and being an ethical world citizen. As a Recruiter I spend a great deal of time trying to not only hire the best and most qualified people, but people who will bring diverse perspectives to the table. I was privileged to attend Penn Law's International Human Rights Institute and present some of my learnings to my Colleagues. Slides shown here. Detailed notes to come soon.
